The Courtyard That Listened

They didn't come with plans. They came with chairs and listened.

Giambellino, Milan

[Demo content] When the young architects first arrived in our courtyard, I expected blueprints and technical drawings. Instead, they brought plastic chairs and a simple question: "What happens here?"

I've lived in this building for forty-two years. I've seen neighbors come and go, children grow up and leave, the
playground equipment rust and disappear. Nobody had ever asked us what we thought about this place we call home.

For the first time, someone was writing down what we said. Not to judge us, but to understand.
